A breakthrough that I recently helped a client achieve was that they were struggling with anxiety. This was important to me because it provided an explanation for the everyday struggles that they were dealing with and provided the client with a deeper understanding of themselves and how to manage their daily struggles.

Clients can expect their counseling process with me to look however they feel best suits their needs. I like my clients to feel as though they are the ones in charge and that I am just there to support them along the way.

The first session is the most important session. I like to focus on building rapport, gathering background information, and gathering an understanding of what the client is looking for in therapy. I like for the client to also be able to ask me any questions about myself or the therapy process.

Mental health is something that has always been and always will be very important to me. I enjoy the feeling of helping others be able to live a more positive and fulfilling life!

    I utilize evidence-based therapies, including Psychotherapy, Client-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing & Solution-Focused Therapy.

    I feel as though my biggest strengths are helping clients increase their self-awareness, equipping them with the right tools for their toolbox, and encouraging the client to feel as though they are the ones in charge of their life and their therapy journey!
