Anytime a client is able to acknowledge their worth as an individual is impactful. Moments where clients leave abusive relationships, set boundaries with family, or trust themselves to take risk on their dream careers have always been significant to me.
My sessions often feel conversational and natural. Each step of the way I deliberately collaborate with my clients to make sure our work is aligning with their ultimate goals. I value my client's trust immensely and their vulnerability will always be celebrated and appreciated.
I like to spend first sessions hearing a client's story, their here-and-now challenges, and their overall goals for therapy. I understand it can be awkward to get started with a new therapist, so clients are as welcome to share as much or as little as we get to know each other.
So far in my career I have had the incredible opportunity to witness monumental levels of growth. Everyone is capable of change, and in many cases, it seems the level of growth often surprises clients themselves. Everyone is deserving of living an authentic and full life and I feel honored to help facilitate those changes.
