Rachel Chopp
Rachel is passionate about helping others find healing, understanding, and resilience. As a supervisee in social work, she has experience working with teens, adults, and couples as they navigate a variety of life’s challenges. Utilizing evidence-based practices such as CBT and DBT, she provides practical, skill-based support while incorporating a systems approach through EFT and IFS. Leading with compassion and empathy, Rachel meets each person where they are and walks alongside them on their journey toward healing. Believing that growth happens in connection, she strives to foster a supportive environment where clients feel empowered to explore their emotions, build coping strategies, and create meaningful change. Regardless of where clients are on their journey, Rachel is dedicated to providing support and guidance with understanding and care.
My client had experienced significant trauma and struggled with setting healthy boundaries. As we built trust, they began to recognize how their past shaped these patterns. With this new perspective, they shifted away from self-blame and learned that boundaries weren’t selfish but a form of self-care. Over time, they grew more confident in setting boundaries and developed healthier, more balanced relationships. It was incredible to witness them embrace their strength and step into a more empowered version of themselves.
In our sessions, you’ll take the lead, and I’ll be here to support and empower you throughout the process. We’ll create a safe, non-judgmental space where you can share at your own pace.Together, we’ll build trust and explore tools and guidance tailored to your unique journey. My goal is to meet you where you are, helping you feel confident and empowered to make positive changes at a pace that feels right for you.
In our first session, the main goal is to connect. We’ll take it slow, and I’ll be here to answer any questions you have. We’ll talk about what brought you here in a way that feels comfortable for you. Together, we’ll develop a treatment plan that aligns with your goals and honors your unique needs, while creating a space where you feel safe, heard, and supported.
What motivates me most as a therapist is being part of someone’s journey toward real change and healing. It’s incredibly rewarding to witness people gain insight, grow, and step into their own strength. Supporting and encouraging my clients as they navigate life’s challenges fuels my passion for this work and reminds me every day why I love what I do.
