Finding a good therapist is hard. The last thing you need when trying to get help for your mental health is to be met with administrative roadblocks. You live in “Watch City”—you know how valuable your time is! Lifebulb does too, and that’s why we’re committed to getting you quickly matched with a Waltham therapist who accepts your insurance and specializes in your needs. At Your Appointment
All virtual appointments are conducted over a HIPAA-compliant video tool that is 100% safe and private. Most appointments are around an hour long. During your first session, your Waltham therapist will discuss goals and treatment modalities with you.
After Your Appointment
Your therapist will schedule a recurring session with you. Most people attend therapy once a week for around 3-4 months, although this varies based on your needs and availability. Lifebulb also has a flexible cancellation policy if you need to cancel.
Our Waltham therapists will meet you where you’re at. We have therapists specializing in all types of therapy, from relationship therapy to individual counseling. Before reaching out to us, consider what you’re looking for in a Waltham therapist. What goals do you have for therapy? Lifebulb can help you meet them.
Individual therapy is a one-on-one setting in which a professional Waltham therapist meets with you to discuss concerns ranging from anxiety to trauma, and much more. Therapy is for people who are struggling with their mental health or who are going through a tough time and just want someone to talk to. There is no issue too big or too small for Lifebulb’s Waltham counselors.
Relationship therapy encompasses couples therapy, family therapy, marriage therapy, or premarital therapy. It is a good option for people with strained relationships, but it is also a useful tool to anyone who wants to build healthier, stronger relationships. Issues addressed in relationship therapy can include conflict resolution skills, communication issues, rebuilding trust, and strengthening bonds.
Children perceive the world differently than adults and need a unique approach to therapy. Children's therapy is a special kind of modality good for children under the age of 12. Waltham child therapists will specialize in this kind of therapy and have experience in helping children through mental illness or difficult life transitions.
Being a young adult comes with many difficulties. Although some of it can be summed up by being a teenager, young adults are facing more and more very real mental health concerns, ranging from anxiety and depression to eating disorders or suicidal thoughts. Therapy for teenagers will meet young adults where they are and provide empathetic therapy to help them thrive.
We believe therapy should be personalized to every individual. No one has been through exactly what you have; you deserve a unique approach tailored to fit your needs. That’s why our Waltham therapists offer many different services and modalities. Browse our list of therapists to find someone who fits your needs.
The length of therapy depends on many individual factors, including how committed you are to the process, why you are seeking therapy, and how often you see your therapist. On average, however, you can expect to see a therapist weekly for around 3-4 months.
Yes! Therapy has been proven very effective at treating a wide range of mental health issues. Different modalities will have varying levels of effectiveness in treating mental health issues. Talk to your therapist about which modality is best for you.
Yes. Most insurance will cover therapy. Lifebulb can help verify your insurance benefits and give you a good-faith estimate of cost before you start therapy.
All you need to start therapy is yourself and a willingness to grow. It can help to come prepared with what you want to address, goals you have, and any questions you’d like to ask your therapist.
